At a young age, Caleb has already left a permanent mark on the music industry. His vision and accomplishments have marked him as a rising star, both domestically and now internationally. As the President of CCM, Caleb produces and directs over 150 of Utah’s most talented young musicians in nine elite ensembles, including the award-winning Crescent Super Band. These bands can currently be heard on radio stations across the country, including Sirius XM Satellite radio.

In addition to performing across the globe, Caleb's bands have been recognized time and again as some of the nation's top entertainers. DownBeat Magazine has recognized these bands with 10 awards over the last 5 years. Locally, Caleb received the Best of State Statue Award, marking his program as the top organization in Arts and Entertainment for the state of Utah, beating out every other professional music, arts, and film organization for the honor. They have also garnered 7 Best of State Medals in the process. And Caleb's Crescent Super Band has consistently been named the top professional band in Utah in any genre.

Caleb and his bands have shared the stage with over two-hundred celebrity guest artists, including dozens of Grammy-winners from every major genre. They have worked with members of many of the most recognized bands on the planet - the Rolling Stones, the Dave Matthews Band, AC/DC, Tower of Power, Journey, and Genesis, to name just a few. Jazz icons like Joe Lovano, Nicholas Payton, Dave Weckl, Christian McBride, Stefon Harris, Bob Mintzer, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Randy Brecker, Lenny Pickett, Victor Wooten, and Peter Erskine also fill the list.

Caleb's efforts in music have also earned three declarations from former Utah Governor, John Huntsman, Jr. He was named the 2011 "John LaPorta International Jazz Educator of the Year" by Berklee College of Music and the Jazz Education Network. He was also named to the "Fab 50" List for 2010 by Utah Valley Magazine, and in 2007 he was honored as the inaugural inductee into the Horne School of Music Hall of Fame and received the “Superior Accomplishment in Music Award” from the Utah Music Educators Association.

In addition to fronting the bands, Caleb is an active saxophonist and clinician. Most recently, he performed the National Anthem for the NBA at a sold-out match between the Utah Jazz and the Miami Heat, the only saxophonist ever to receive the invitation in Utah. Caleb is a featured clinician and sponsored performer for Yamaha Saxophones, Rico Reeds, JodyJazz Mouthpieces, and Planet Waves Cables.
