"I Just wanted to let you know that the ESP is the best mouthpiece I have ever played on.
I've been playing for about 12 years and have never truly been content with my sound or how it felt
to play. When I picked up the ESP it made me wish I found it sooner. The response can only be described
as spot on and the altissimo has body to it. Besides the playing benefits, the quality is well beyond
that of most other mouthpieces. I hope business is treating you guys well and my next mouthpiece will
most definitely be from JodyJazz.

"The Tenor ESP gold 9 is the best jazz mouthpiece that I have played on. It blows more
freely than the berg 120 that I was playing and gets a beautiful, rich and full sound. It's
also more versatile with the spoiler and without working from rock to smooth jazz and is
perfect for the big band I play in. I can finally stop the search for my perfect tenor jazz mouthpiece. "

Dear Jody,
I had always listened with envy at those studio giants who could get a fat sultry tenor sound (that I knew wasn't just reverb added in production) with a slight forceful edge that added luster which somehow never got in the way of the tone. A few moments after blowing your ESP 6 with the baffle in, I felt like I just kicked in the door to that exclusive club! Fatness. Fatness. Even with the narrower facing.
Removing the baffle gave me the softer, very controllable old-school sound for combo ballads that I originally contacted you about. Ironically, even though I was after the softer sound, the fact that the baffle gives me just enough power to use the piece in a big band section seals the deal. I'll take the ESP! It really IS like two mouthpieces in one.
Thanks again for your personalized attention
Best wishes,
"
